Clubs and Organisations
When classes are over for the day, many students enjoy IPU New Zealand club activities. Popular clubs based at the IPU New Zealand Recreation Centre are dance, sports, and martial arts clubs. Our nationally recognised Japanese KODAMA Drum Team, who have performed at several international events including the 2011 Rugby World Cup and the 2014 World Taiko Meet in Los Angeles, US, is in high demand throughout New Zealand. If your preferred sport or hobby is not currently practiced at IPU New Zealand you have the opportunity to create a new club and make use of IPU New Zealand's great facilities.
Throughout the academic year IPU New Zealand hosts a number of exciting events for all students. Many of these are student-led and a great opportunity for students to enhance their leadership and event management skills.
