  • When the author and publisher are the same, omit the publisher in the reference.

    or

    Reference List Format:

  • Write the publisher’s name as it is written but omit designations, such as Inc. or Ltd.

    In-Text Citation Format:

    Suzuki and Dressel (2004) argue that the human species became...

    or

    There are two arguments put forward regarding… (Suzuki & Dressel, 2004).

    Reference List Format:

  • English translations are placed in square brackets.

  • The editor’s name is presented as their initial/s followed by their family name.

    The pages of the chapter are preceded by pp. and placed in parentheses.

    or

    From the New Zealand educational perspective, gifted learners… ( Sturgess, 2011).

    Reference List Format:
