Nau mai, haere mai!

23-27 March was orientation for all our new students (including those online!), with many joining us from different parts of the globe—including India, Nepal, Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Aotearoa New Zealand.

Here are some highlights from the Mihi Whakatau (Māori welcome), which was held at our campus library. The morning was made extra special with the inclusion of students from Tai Wānanga Tū Toa, who showcased their beautiful talents through Kapa Haka to the delight of all in attendance. It was a truly moving experience for our new IPU community and our visiting high schools (Soshi Gakuen, San-Yo, and Seijo Gakuen).

Special thanks to PNCC representative Todd Taiepa for his ongoing support and guidance regarding tikanga. And to all our wonderful IPU New Zealand staff for their presence during this special occasion.

Ngā mihi.
