Rei Moriyasu is a proud IPU New Zealand alumna who has turned her love for the institution into a career, joining the Student Support Team after graduating. In her role, she works to improve student life at IPU New Zealand by supporting both academic performance and extracurricular activities, including clubs and events. Having experienced student life at IPU firsthand, Rei brings a genuine understanding of what students need to thrive and feel at home — because IPU New Zealand has truly become her second home too.

During her own studies, Rei was actively involved in reviving several student activities that had become inactive following the COVID-19 pandemic, including the IPU Student Shop, Volunteer Team, Japanese Soran Dance Team, and Tennis Club — a testament to her passion for community and campus life. Outside of work, Rei is currently learning Korean and Bahasa Indonesia, and finds joy and excitement in the little things in everyday life.
