Her role is centred on delivering efficient, student-focused services and supporting a seamless academic journey from admission through to graduation. Originally from Nepal, Maya brings over six years of lecturing experience in Nepal, followed by postgraduate study in leadership and extensive hands-on experience in academic registry and admissions functions in New Zealand.

Fluent in English, Nepali, and Hindi, Maya is well placed to communicate effectively with IPU New Zealand's diverse student community. She has a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and pastoral care, and is deeply passionate about enhancing the student experience.
