Marveys Ayomi

Marveys Ayomi has been a lecturer and Senior Marketing Officer at IPU New Zealand since 2012, bringing over a decade of experience in international business education, student advising, and cross-cultural engagement. His recent responsibilities at IPU New Zealand include delivering lectures and developing curriculum in international business, supporting student welfare and intercultural integration, and providing mentoring and guidance to international students. He also serves as Coordinator for Scholarship Recipients from Mappi Regency, managing academic support and welfare for scholarship students and strengthening collaboration between IPU New Zealand and the Mappi Regency government in Indonesia.


Beyond his role at IPU New Zealand, Marveys has extensive experience coordinating large-scale scholarship programmes, having supported over 200 students from Papua Province through their transition to university study in New Zealand from 2014 to 2022, acting as primary liaison between government bodies and New Zealand institutions. He is also the founder of Tangata Language House, an English language school he established in Papua, Indonesia in 2018, where he defined the strategic vision, curriculum direction, and operational structure. He is bilingual in English and Indonesian, further enhancing his ability to support and engage with international students from diverse backgrounds.
