Lina Dikin joined IPU New Zealand in March 2024 as part of the Academic Registry team, bringing a warm and people-centred approach to her work. Her responsibilities include maintaining accurate student records, supporting enrolment processes, handling course registrations and changes, and providing day-to-day administrative support to both students and staff. Prior to joining IPU New Zealand, Lina built a solid background in academic institutions across Malaysia, with experience spanning office management, tutoring, and student affairs.
Originally from Malaysia, Lina is a multilingual speaker of Malay, English, and Bahasa, and has a genuine love for connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. She first lived in Christchurch, New Zealand from 2007 to 2011 before returning to Malaysia, and made her way back to New Zealand in 2023 — settling in Lincoln before relocating to Palmerston North to join the IPU New Zealand community. Her international journey and cross-cultural experiences bring a unique perspective to her role and reflect her adventurous and open-hearted approach to life.
