2015 International Spring Festival
At the International Spring Festival on Saturday 26th September there was extra cause to celebrate- in its 25th jubilee year IPC announced its official name change to IPU New Zealand. The name change reflects the institution's forward looking vision and its commitment to strengthening ties with its sister university IPU in Okayama, Japan, and other educational institutions around the Asia-Pacific Rim.

In its 13th year, the increasingly popular festival saw over 5,000 visitors make their way from around the Manawatu, and as far as Hawke's Bay, Gisborne, Christchurch, and Auckland, to enjoy the cherry blossoms, ethnic food, and entertainment.
Students and their families served traditional food from Mexico, Argentina, India, Japan, Vietnam, and many other nations.
