Students Celebrate Matariki
IPU New Zealand Volunteer Committee students helped Palmerston North City Council organising the Okoro Matariki Puanga (Maori New Year) event on Saturday, 6th July, 4-7 pm on the Manawatu Riverside. Despite bad weather, our students helped making this event successful by bringing communities together. People enjoyed Bonfire, Hangi, Kapa Haka, Food Trucks, Story Telling and much more!
