IPU New Zealand students ride the Palmerston North bus for free
IPU New Zealand students are now able to ride the Palmerston North urban bus service for free. The Board of IPU New Zealand has contributed to Palmerston North for 27 years and is delighted that students will now have greater access to the city.
Student, Akihiro Adachi, said “I’m doing a homestay and the house is very far from IPU. So I have been helped by being able to take the bus everyday. I can go from town to campus easily. I’m glad that I can go comfortably anywhere by bus without difficulty from now on too.”
Thanks to a collaboration with Horizons Regional Council, tertiary students in Palmerston North city are now covered under the scheme, making Palmerston North an enviable tertiary destination.
