IPU UN model session
On Tuesday 31 May, our undergraduate students who study international relations held the UN model session. The theme of this year was “New Secretary General of United Nations”, the current Secretary General Ban Ki moon’s term is due to expire on 31 December 2016, member states presented a candidate for the position in a letter to the president of the General assembly and the president of the Security Council. Helen Clark, the Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme was chosen to be the next Secretary General of the United Nations unanimously.
