IPU New Zealand welcomes 90 new students

IPU New Zealand welcomes 90 new students.

This week IPU New Zealand welcomes 92 new students to our campus here in Palmerston North for our April intake. The new students spent three days from Wednesday through to Friday getting orientated in their new surroundings.

This new group was made up of students from New Zealand, Japan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, The Philippines, China, India and Vietnam.

Peter Davies our Student Support Manager said the following:

“The main part of Term 1 Orientation 2016 is now over and all students have been familiarised with the campus and Palmerston North CBD. Students have had to work as a team in some activities, but also perform as an individual in others. Orientation has also allowed staff to get to know the individual students so that we can plan their individual programmes. The students and staff are now prepared and looking forward to the start of term.”

New student Laura Wright said:

"I really enjoyed orientation. The ice breaker activity was really good to get to know the other new students."
