MPs Jono Naylor and Todd Barclay visit IPU New Zealand
IPU New Zealand hosted MPs Jono Naylor and Todd Barclay on Monday 19th October. Jono Naylor, who has a long-standing friendship with IPU New Zealand, introduced the Clutha-Southland MP, who was visiting the area from Gore. The two met with faculty staff and were given a campus tour by degree students, before lunch with students in the on-campus dining hall.
Having previously worked for Education Minister Hekia Parata, Mr Barclay was particularly interested in learning about the programmes IPU New Zealand offers for both domestic and international students, and how they compare with those offered by public universities in New Zealand.
