IPU New Zealand’s contribution to city recovery acknowledged by Mayor
Dr. Setsuko Ohashi’s donation to students, encouraging them to get into the city and help stimulate the local economy, has been acknowledged by the Palmerston North Mayor Grant Smith in his week 8 Covid-19 lockdown video.
During the video the mayor outlines the council’s city-wide recovery plan and how the stages will be rolled out in the coming months, the council’s campaigns for construction on the arena and the choose manawatu – buy local campaign, after which he threw in a thank you for IPU’s contribution.
