International Relations Lecturer Publishes Journal Article
Dr. Eswaranathan Ehambaranathan, known as Dr. Nathan, International Relations lecturer, recently published an article in the International Journal of Human Resource Studies. which can be found here on the Macrothink Institute website.
The article is entitled "Challenges of Globalization and the Role of Employee Engagement,'" and focuses on the case of rapidly growing Vietnam.
Dr. Nathan states that there have been suggestions that the changes in employee engagement practices in Vietnam have not been corresponding with the changes taking place in the international business environment. He believes Vietnamese organisations have achieved a relatively low level of effectiveness in implementing effective employee engagement practices because of this. Vietnam is a country exposed to the challenges and opportunities of globalisation, and by persuading their organisations to recognise the implications of effective employee engagement practice internationally, Dr. Nathan hopes to prepare them for the challenges in globalisation.
He is also planning to publish another article for International Journal of Academic Research in Business and Social Sciences category, which will be soon updated in February 2015.
