The Mexican Ambassador holds a seminar on campus

Seminar Report of José Gerardo Traslosheros Hernández, Ambassador of Mexico to New Zealand.

On 19 October 2016, Mr. José Gerardo Traslosheros Hernández, Ambassador of Mexico to New Zealand, had a formal lecture in a seminar held by New Zealand Institute of International Affairs Palmerston North branch. He delivered his talk on strengthening Mexico and New Zealand bilateral relations in a multidimensional framework. The ambassador provided us with informative and insightful frameworks and opportunities of New Zealand and Mexico future bilateral relations.

His speech was followed by a question and answer session, and a number of domestic and international students expressed their interests in expanding the bilateral relation and entrepreneurship not only in New Zealand, but also in their respective countries. 

The students had a great opportunity to expand their understanding on the strength of Mexico’s economy and its relation with New Zealand. The ambassador closed his lecturer by giving advice to the IPU students on the importance of future planning, networking, and good attitude in order to achieve a goal.
