Dr Rashid Ameer, a lecturer on the Postgraduate Studies programme, has contributed to a recently published book in the UK, by writing two chapters with co-researchers.
One chapter is entitled Finance and Sustainability- Resources, Capabilities, and Rewards and the other is Shareholder Activism in the Family-Controlled Firms in Malaysia. These chapters appear in the book Ethics, Governance and Corporate Crime Challenges and Consequences which is part of a series called Developments in Corporate Governance and Responsibility, 6:19-45. ISBN: 978-1-78350-673-6, edited by David Crowther.

The series presents current debates and research about specific aspects of social responsibility and shows these from global and interdisciplinary perspectives. Each volume presents a different theme related to the broad field of corporate social responsibility. It aims to spark debate and encourage discussion between people from different backgrounds as a way of developing and promoting best practice. The papers are global and invited contributions, ensuring that the quality remains high and the scope of coverage is comprehensive and coherent.
Developments in Corporate Governance and Responsibility is particularly relevant to academics, researchers and practitioners in the field of business management. - See more here.
